B. Software installation

Configure your application program (Windows 3.X, ACAD, Dr. Genius III etc) to the same operation mode as the Dip Switch setting. This means loading the proper driver for the HISKETCH.

1. For Genius Tablet mode: (Summagraphic Tablet mode)

Example 1: Run Microsoft Windows 3.X software. Use the GPAD.DRV file.

The MM series digitizer comes in the following models:
 961 - 9 by 6 inch tablet
1212 - 12 by 12 inch tablet
1812 - 18 by 12 inch tablet

1.  Stylus
3.  Three-button cursor
4.  Four-button cursor

2.  Mouse (relative / delta) mode
Note that the Tablet mode cannot be used if Mouse mode is selected.

2. For Genius Mouse Mode : (Microsoft/Mouse Systems Mouse Mode)
To configure your application software for the Genius Mouse mode, follow the same procedures as you did with the Genius Tablet mode but select a different type driver (Genius Mouse, Mouse Systems Mouse, or Microsoft Serial Mouse). This driver depends on your dip switch setting.
