A) Notes on Windows 95

   Please check the file MFX_ENG.DOC. It contains all information that is
   required to install and run the SPEA V7 media fx board under Windows 95.
   The file MFX_ENG.DOC is a Word for Windows 6.0 File that for example can 
   be read (and printed) with the Wordpad Application from Windows 95.
        


B) Known Problems
   
   - The Windows Resource Manager (Windows 95 Plug & Play) often cannot 
     detect Interrupt conflicts on IRQ 9 or IRQ 7. As a consequence the SPEA 
     V7-media fx will be configured on IRQ 9 or 7 although there is a 
     conflict with this IRQ, but Windows 95 does not report this conflict!
     The symptom of such a conflict is for example that the last sequence of 
     a Wave file is played back endless or that - if you use the Volume 
     control of Windows 95- its 'Ding'tone is repeated endless.
     The solution for this problem is to reconfigure the required Interrupts 
     for the SPEA V7-media fx manually.
   
   - Using Windows 95 color-themes some Applications may draw wrong colors.

A) Hinweise zu Windows 95

   Bitte beachten Sie die Datei MFX_GER.DOC. Sie enth„lt alle relevanten
   Informationen zur Installation und zum Betrieb der SPEA V7 media fx unter
   Windows 95.
   Die Datei MFX_GER.DOC ist eine Word f�r Windows 6.0 Datei, die sich zum 
   Beispiel mit der Applikation Wordpad von Windows 95 lesen (und auch 
   ausdrucken) l„át.



B) Bekannte Probleme

   - Der Windows 95 Resourcen-Manager (Windows 95 Plug & Play) kann oft keine
     Interrupt-Konflikte auf Interrupt 9 und Interrupt 7 feststellen.
     Dies f�hrt dazu, daá die SPEA V7-media fx auf Interrupt 9 oder 7 
     konfiguriert wird. Dies kann dazu f�hren, daá ein Interrupt-Konflikt
     vorliegt, obwohl Windows 95 keinen Konflikt meldet !
     Ein solcher Konflikt macht sich in der Regel dadurch bemerkbar, daá 
     eine Wave-Datei, bzw. der letzte Teil einer Wave-Datei immer wieder
     wiederholt wird. Zum Beispiel f�hrt die Benutzung des Windows 95 
     Lautst„rkereglers in einem solchen Fall dazu, daá der 'Ding'-Ton des
     Windows 95 Lautst„rkereglers endlos wiederholt wird.
     Dieses Problem l„át sich durch ein manuelles Umkonfigurieren der 
     Interrupts, die von der SPEA V7-media fx ben”tigt werden, l”sen.

   - Bei der Verwendung von Windows 95 Farbthemen kann es in einigen 
     Applikationen zu Farbfehlern kommen.
