Questions for Network Infrastructure Post
 
1. Have you personally made configuration changes to routers, hubs or network switches?
2. Are you familiar with MIBs, SNMP and network management software?
3. Do you know the difference between IEEE 802.3, 802.5 and 802.11?
4. Are you familiar with RFC standards in general, and how to find them?
5. Do you know how TCP/IP works, and how to calculate subnet masks?
6. Have you ever used some form of network Sniffer or other LAN monitor?
7. Have you drawn network LAN or WAN diagrams?
8. Are you able to describe the differences between OSI Layers 1, 2 and 3?
9. Do you know how to configure Windows systems for IP networking?
10. Do you have experience with any of Ethernet, Token Ring or ATM?
