PCNINFO 02010: Zusammenarbeit mit technischen Schulen gesucht

"Elektronische Lernumgebung"
Zusammenarbeit mit technischen Schulen gesucht

Dear Friends from IDEC and RWCT,

I just received a mail from Karl Donert from Liverpool, in which he invites me to make a bit for EU money. The project will be about making the electronic learning environment The Universe ( http://heelaldemo.aps.nl ) international and implement this way of working in secondary schools.
In this project schools will be trained in using this environment, we will develop an English, German and probably Spanish version of the Universe and we will look at implementation and working in international contexts.
It took a while but now we can move forward.

I talked with a lot of you the Universe project and some of you were at the workshop in Talinn (nov 2001) of Dublin (sumer 2001). Some of you told me you were interested.

I'm looking for schools and pedagogical centres / universities, interested in collaborating with us in this project. Collaborating can
mean: work with The Universe at your school and/or being involved in implementing an electronic learning environment The Universe in the curriculum.
Using The Universe students can also collaborate with other students abraod, working on interesting research topics.

Partners in the project are upto now: APS (my institute, Netherlands), Hope University ( Liverpool, UK), MerseyGrid project (Liverpool, UK), MediaXS (Netherlands, Multimedia Company, ).

If your school is still interested in being involved in this project would you confirm this and give me the details of your institute (adress, contactperson, etc). You will get a form to fill. The bids have to be in Brussels in 2 weeks, so please give me your reaction asap, preferably today!

you wil get a form to fill in We can discuss details later. We need names now!

If you want to have more information, please contact me.
